Our Team

Dr. Abby (Broering) Small is a Portland native. She graduated from Jay County High School in 2013 and completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana University. She graduated from IU School of Optometry in 2020. Dr. Small trained at Atwater Eye Care Center in Bloomington, IN, Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN, Eye Center of Richmond, IN, and McPeak Vision Partners in Bowling Green, KY.

Dr. David Fullenkamp is a Portland/Jay County native born to Martin and Irene Fullenkamp. He is the second of six children. Dr. Fullenkamp is a 1977 graduate of Jay County High School. After high school, he attended Indiana University and completed his education in 1985 from the IU School of Optometry. Dr. Fullenkamp married his wife, Robbin (Shura), in August of 1985. They have three children. Dr. Fullenkamp enjoys reading, golfing, and spending time with his friends and family.

Dr. Adam Reichert delivers comprehensive optometric care, encompassing eye exams, contact lens fittings, and ocular disease management.

Chelsi is a front desk receptionist at our office, and she joined the team in 2023. She has worked in the eyecare field since 2017. Since she has been at our office, she has loved getting to know the patients and playing mini games with her coworkers.

Some fun facts about Chelsi: She loves to travel! Some of the places she has visited include Belize, Aruba, Cozumel, Nassau, and Ocean Cay. She was born and raised in Jay County. She is a mom to 4 very active kiddos. She spends all her free time being their #1 fan! If you don’t find Chelsi at work, there is a good chance you will find her on the ball field.

Sandy is a receptionist for our office and started in 2014! Sandy’s favorite thing about working here is working with the public and being around great coworkers and great doctors!

Fun Fact about Sandy: She has a black belt in Taekwondo! She also loves animals! Sandy and her husband, Rich, have two children, Nicole and Steven. They also have 2 lovable grand-dogs that they love to spoil!

Randon joined the team as a technician in October of 2022. Her favorite part of working here so far is pretty much everything! She enjoys the staff, the doctors, working with the patients, and learning all about the eye!

A fun fact about Randon is that she really wants to go deep sea fishing and catch a shark one day! Randon was born and raised in Jay County. She has been married to her husband, Devon, since 2010. Family is everything to her; she has 5 biological children, as well as 2 bonus children. She and her family have 4 dogs, and a cat. Randon loves to travel, especially to Fort Walton, Florida!

Katelyn joined our team in March of 2024 as an Optician. Her favorite part about her job is when patients come to pick up their new frame and lenses. She says there is nothing better than seeing the smiles on their faces. She enjoys helping patients pick out the perfect pair of frames. She says her coworkers are pretty great too.

Some fun facts about Katie: She is originally from the Buckeye State! She and her husband now live in Portland with their children. Katie loves spending quality time with her family. She enjoys small town life and is trying to convince her husband to have a small farm in town!

Lyndee is an optician at our office, and she joined the team in 2024. Born and raised in Jay County, Lyndee is a proud wife to Ryan (married in 2018) and mom to 4 wonderful kiddos. Together, they call a cute little family farm in Bryant home.

With a background in nursing, Lyndee brings valuable medical knowledge to the team. In her downtime, you’ll find her reading or unwinding outside. Her favorite part of working here so far? Getting to know all of our amazing patients!

Cass is an optician at our office, and she joined the team in 2024. We are incredibly lucky to have Cass in our office, someone who truly cares about providing exceptional care and making a positive difference in the lives of our patients. She’s been married to her wonderful husband, Eric, for 24 years, and together they have 1 son (Gabe) and 5 lovable dogs! 🐾

When she’s not in the office, Cass enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends – especially around a cozy bonfire.

Sierra joined our team in the spring 2025 and brings a warm, friendly presence to both the optical and clinical sides of the office. As a technician, she plays a key role in patient care by capturing high-quality diagnostic images that assist our doctors in evaluating and monitoring eye health. Her attention to detail and commitment to accuracy help ensure each patient receives the best possible care. In her role as an optician, Sierra truly enjoys helping patients choose eyewear that fits their lifestyle, personality, and vision needs. Her goal is to make every patient feel confident and comfortable in the glasses they wear.

Outside of work, Sierra enjoys reading, spending time with her two dogs and chickens, and keeping up with her large family—she has 13 siblings! She’s been married to her husband, Alex since 2024. Sierra’s passion for patient care and her friendly, approachable nature make her a valued part of our team. We’re proud to have her here at the office!

Joey started at our office in 2026 as an optician. Please welcome Joey to the team!

Danielle is an optician and front desk receptionist for our office. Her favorite part of working at the office is helping patients pick out frames that best suit them and working with my BFF Madi.
Fun fact about Danielle: her house was ordered from a Sears catalog! Danielle's favorite colors are black and neutrals but she likes her nails bright neons.

Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family, including her two (almost adult!) kids and very spoiled dog. On weekends, you'll find Danielle at the lake camping and enjoying the outdoors. She's a fan of live music - there's nothing better than a good concert!

Madi has been a technician for our office since 2022! Her favorite part of working at Elite Eye Care is learning something new daily & working with my BFF Danielle.

Fun fact about Madi is that she loves Diet Coke and her favorite colors are pink & green! Madi is married with a 4-year-old son, Creed. She appreciates rock music. In her spare time, Madi enjoys going to antique and thrift stores.
